The Father to His Daughter

This poem, written during my quiet time, is what I believe reflected the Father’s heart towards His daughter (me); but I know that’s His heart towards all of His daughters.

You are loved

You are not abnormal

You were never meant to fit in

But you are loved

When you were made I declared that it was good.

You are a beauty to me

I have assigned you your meaning.

You mean the world (that I created) to me.

Everything that you declared a mistake, I have marked purpose over.

Everything that you declared a blemish, I declared as character.

You are not sub par. You are excellent.

I made you that way.

You are mine. Come back to me, dear daughter.

Retrace those steps to the time I made known to you My presence.

Dine with Me here. Dine with Daddy here.

May I wipe the tears that a created thing caused and replace it with a joy I can never take away.

I love you.

I enjoy you.

I find joy in you.

Don’t take that privilege from me.

The privilege I have to keep your secrets

To make your desires my heart’s song.
