Seen
Though I go through the motions of life
In the midst of my wilderness
In the silent times
You are here
In the mundane tasks
And when I don’t get when I ask
You still care
And even in the times I grow impatient
When I believe my time should have come and went
You show me that Your grace is sufficient
For that very moment
For in my moment of weakness
When I feel like I can’t wait any longer
In the space of the not yet
None of my time is wasted
For You use everything,
You use everything for your glory
My story a testimony
Of your faithfulness
In my dry seasons and moments of abundance
You are there
Never have I felt so seen
Never have I felt so noticed
That even in a population of 8 billion
You have a word just for me
And even in my weak grip of strength
And my shaky, fading voice
You give purpose and wonder to
Your magnificent works in my life
I shall be still
I will stand firm
I will wait on You
In holy expectation of what you will do
Even when I feel overlooked
Your promises confirm
In full assurance of faith
That I am seen.
